Day 1

Arrive Cochin & drive to Munnar (appx. 5hrs.)

Upon arrival at Cochin, meet and greet at the Airport or Railway Station. Later we proceed towards the hill station of Munnar.Cosseted by lush greeneries, guarded by captivating hills and mountains, and fringed with never-ending tea plantations, Munnar is also known as the ‘Nature Lover’s Paradise and will indeed hold you captive throughout your stay. Arriving in this hilly retreat, you will be checked into a hotel or a resort. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Munnar hotel/resort.

Day 2

Munnar Local Sight Seeing.

Brace the playful morning light and wake up to a beautiful morning at the hotel/resort. Get freshened up and enjoy a healthy breakfast. Post this, you will be guided for a full day sightseeing tour wherein you will be visiting the important landmarks and other important places in Munnar. Start the tour with Echo Point, Kundala Lake, Kundala Dam, Mattupetty Lake & Mattupetty Dam, Munnar Boating, Munnar Tea gardens, Munnar Tea museum & Tea factory, Munnar Elephant Ride(Own cost), Rose (Blossom) Garden, Pothamedu View Point, Hydel Park, Photo Shooting Points & Tea Powder Shopping. During the day, you will also visit Eravikulam National Park(Entry tickets own cost) where you can enjoy spotting the exotic Nilgiri Tahr and several other wildlife species. Overnight stay will be in Munnar hotel.

Day 3

Munnar to Thekkady by Road (4hrs.) with Thekkady sightseeing

Today morning, following your breakfast at the Munnar hotel/resort, pack your bags and check-out from the hotel/resort. Hereafter, you will be driven towards the gorgeous Thekkady, located near to Kerala-Tamil Nadu border. Following your arrival in the town, settle down in a hotel/resort and relax for a while. Post this, embark on a rustic tour to the Periyar National Park, a protected reserve forest, which is home to a stunning variety of flora and fauna. It is bound to wake up and give pleasure to the nature lover in you. The sanctuary is famous for its dense evergreen, semi-evergreen, moist deciduous forests and savanna grass lands. It is home to herds of elephants, Sambhar, Tigers, Gaur, lion-tailed macaques and Nilgiri, Langurs. Close to Periyar National Park is the Periyar Lake, one of the largest artificial lakes in India. Take a boat ride here to truly bask in the true beauty of the place. Coming back from the boat ride, you can go for local shopping & visit spice plantations also. Day 4

Munnar Local Sight Seeing.

Start your day with an appetizing breakfast at the hotel. Check-out and proceed to drive to Alleppey. The houseboat cruise re-starts from Pallathuruthy at 12 Noon. The houseboat travels towards SNDP Thodu, Punnamada Kayal, experiencing the emerald beauty of Kerala. In the late afternoon, visit a nearby village. The other sights you explore is the Kuppapuram, Chitira Palli. The wonderful views of lush paddy fields from your houseboat is spectacular. Enjoy the charming ambiance. The houseboat is anchored for night at Mangalam/Marthandam.

Day 5

Proceed from Alleppey Houseboat to Kovalam by Road (4hrs.)

Today the houseboat cruise starts at 7.30 AM along the breakfast. The houseboat travels via Kanjipadam and moves towards Pallathuruthy. You shall reach the jetty dock by 9.00 AM. After checkout from Houseboat, we proceed to Kovalam by road. On the way to Kovalam, we will do sightseeing of Trivandrum : Padmanabha Swami Temple, Kuthira Maligai Palace, Zoo, Napier Museum , Sree Chithra Art Gallery and Zoological Gardens (All places close on Monday except Padmanabha Swami Temple). Evening reach Kovalam. Overnight stay at Kovalam hotel.

Day 6

Kovalam - Poovar - Kovalam

Post breakfast in the morning, leave by road for Poovar. Poovar is a small coastal village in the Trivandrum district of Kerala state, South India. This village is almost at the southern tip of Trivandrum, and this village has a beautiful beach which attracts tourists. Poovar lies very close to Vizhinjam, a natural harbour. Poovar has an estuary which connects with the sea during high tides. The 56 km Neyyar River passes through Neyyattinkara taluka into the Arabian Sea near Poovar. Its natural beauty enables it to be a quiet tourist spot. Poovar was a trading centre of timber, sandalwood, ivory and spices. It is believed that the ships of King Solomon landed here. Day 7

Drop to Cochin Airport / Railway Station (8hrs.) Kovalam

Today is the last day of your tour. After breakfast, you will be dropped to the airport/ railway station for the onward journey—Tour End with Happy Memories.
